Mayfield Cottage is our charming, two-bedroom holiday cottage, situated right next door to Pettifers Hotel. Our fabulous location gives you access to stunning Cotswolds countryside and local attractions, whilst allowing you to make the most of our self-contained cottage in the pretty town of Crudwell, right next to Malmesbury.
Our hotel holds bucket loads of history. Dating back to 1638, the original site was a veterinary Apothecary for 300 years, providing highly regarded “own brand” medicines and veterinary care to farms – including the Kings Farms Estates!
Enjoy our large walled gardens, adorned on occasion with a croquet pitch and surrounded by sofa seating, beer garden tables and terrace / patio for “al fresco” dining. Safe area for Children to play and Dogs to explore. Car parking is also ample with three assigned parking areas.

Of our 18 bedrooms we offer 2 Large Courtyard Rooms which have been specifically rebuilt as “Disabled Friendly”.
