I am writing on behalf of our Club to say a big ‘thank you’ to you all for the wonderful lunch we had at your hotel on the 14^th of December last. Nothing was too much trouble for all of you and our members and volunteers had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

We were really impressed with the lovely setting of the room we had to ourselves. The tables were beautifully laid, even down to the top quality crackers which we all enjoyed pulling! The meals were of excellent quality and the waiting staff were so efficient and helpful.

We will certainly recommend your hotel to our friends and families and look forward to joining you again, either as a group or individually.

On Saturday 10 January [2015] twenty two member of the Brinkworth and Dauntsey Garden Club sat down to a post Christmas get together at the Mayfield House Hotel. We had a really super evening, the food was very good, your service was excellent, and we all enjoyed the evening.
At a Committee meeting last Monday it was discussed and we thought it was the best evening out we had enjoyed for many years, so congratulations and grateful thanks to all who made it such a memorable evening.

Just a quick note to say a huge thank you to you all from the eight of us who spent the last two nights with you.

Having collected (between us!) new hips, new knees, a heart attack and a mass of family problems since the beginning of the year, our trip was about catching up with each other, relaxing and enjoying some quality time. Mayfield House contributed to that enormously and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Although the Litchfields have stayed with you a number of times and often pop in for a meal when down for Badminton, Kate and I have only been to you once before and the other two couples were first timers. All are now fans!

Dear Frank and the Staff at Mayfield House Hotel,

Many thanks for looking after us so well during our Bowling Tour of your area last week.
We were made very welcome, by the staff on our arrival, with cups of tea and coffee notwithstanding that we arrived an hour early!

There were no complaints from any of the group regarding the presentation of their rooms and we very much appreciated having our own dining room.

The food was enjoyed by all especially the petite fours with the coffee!

Again many thanks for a most comfortable and enjoyable week and maybe we will meet you again in the future.

This survey could begin to sound like sycophantic, but to be honest I don't think there is an area of our stay that could be improved. Every aspect was boarding on perfection, from ALL the staff.

We were made to feel WELCOME as people and not like some credit card that needed to be called Sir and Madam. I have stayed in hotels the world over, and of many different companies and I can tell you NO-ONE, 5 star included, has EVER come within a country mile of the fantastic service and welcome we felt at the Mayfeild House Hotel from all involved.

Frank and Lynne and Best Western are to be congratulated on showing the rest how the job should be done!!!

I write on behalf of the Bentley Drivers Club to express our thanks to you and your staff for hosting our AGM and lunch yesterday.

That you were able to cope with our ever increasing numbers so cheerfully was remarked on by everyone, and the meal your Chef created was both beautifully presented and delicious.

Either our secretary or I will let you know about next year's plans for our AGM as soon as we have made a decision, but your hotel certainly starts in "pole position".

Your chefs excelled themselves, especially the fish dishes and your new wine list caught everyone's imagination.

Your recommendation of local walks with pubs en route made one of the best days out our group has had in ages... especially the Tunnel Inn ales!!

On behalf of the of the members of Trenchfield I should like to thank everyone with whom we came into contact at the Mayfield House Hotel, before, during and after our visit, for being so efficient and courteous at all times. We were particularly appreciative of the way in which our reception and dinner were put back due to the motorway hold-up for the coach.

The accomodation and our dinner in your Stoneroom were both excellent and helped us celebrate our 40th anniversary as a group, and it was a lovely precursor to our delightful visit to "Highgrove"

My wife and I recently spent 2 nights at your hotel and if felt it was prudent to drop you a line to express our thanks for the courtesy and attention we received, its rare these days.

It will probably come as no surprise to you to say how much we enjoyed your excellent food - compliments to the Chef please.

This is in fact the 1st time I have felt the need to write a complimentary letter regarding service but I would like to give a special mention to the young man who waited on us, Graeme, his attitude and polite manner was top class.

This is a short note of appreciation for the excellent way we were all looked after last weekend.
Not only were your staff extremely helpful, the accommodation and food far exceeded what we had expected. A special 'Thank you' to Frank for attending to our needs.

All members came away saying that this was the best long weekend holiday the club has had in many years and that we should consider coming back in the not too distant future.

We will be writing up a very favourable report for own local newspaper and national magazine.

I would like to thank you all for another wonderful week spent at the Mayfield hotel, this was our 5th year of coming and you all surpassed yourselves again.

This time we invited our neighbours who have just sold their business, and have not been away for quite some time, and we told them what to look forward to and from the 1st night they felt completely relaxed after such a super dinner - not least to say they are still talking about the choice of food on the menu and the way in which it was cooked and presented. We are looking forward to returning soon.
